Gallery Pal: Art Museum Experience
Gallery Pal is designed as an app for multiple museums, providing a versatile and engaging experience for art enthusiasts. The prototype focuses on one museum, offering a detailed journey through its unique exhibits.
Using Figma, I created intuitive pathways that focused on engagement, exploration, and learning.

The User Path: A Journey Through My “Why”
-
I wanted users to start their museum journey effortlessly. Inspiration came from the idea that museums should feel open and inviting, not bogged down with barriers.
The sign-up process was designed to be quick and simple, so users could immediately dive into the exhibits without being distracted by lengthy forms.
Hence why there are only name, email, and password components.
-
Evaluating art is deeply personal, and I aimed to make this process approachable and expressive.
The sliding scale for ratings was inspired by the thought of simplifying how people share their overall feelings about a piece.
Instead of being overwhelmed by detailed critiques, users could focus on their emotional response and move on to fully enjoying their visit.
-
Analyzing art can feel intimidating, especially when you’re unsure how to start.
I designed the forum as a space for visitors to spark ideas by reading others’ interpretations.
The goal was to encourage users to think more deeply about the art they encountered, even if they didn’t know where to begin.
-
Exhibits often share fascinating information, but retaining it can be a challenge.
The knowledge test was my solution to make key details stick with 1 short question per painting.
Inspired by the concept of “learning through doing,” I created interactive quizzes to help users connect with the content and leave with a lasting impression of the art and its context.
